I have a complete set (4 + Spare) of VW Canyon wheels with 265/70 Nitto Terra Grappler tires mounted (very very little rubbing at lock). ~50% tread left (I haven't measured but will try to get a picture with a penny) - spare has never been drive on. Wheels are rattle canned black but look pretty good. Bought for off roading back at the end of May - only made a few trips and never let me down....

I've been looking at tires for a while and just noticed yesterday that Discount Tire's price for the Nitto TG went up. In stock size(265/70-17) Price went from $122 to $137 Still probably the best value, but a bummer none the less.

Below are a few quick pics I took of my new rims and tires. I knew I would have some trimming to do because my 33.5" Toyo M/Ts on stock Off Road rims came fairly close to the fender liner, and I was not only sticking the rims out another 1-3/8" more, (Black Rock Viper are 17x8" with 4.5" backspacing), but I was also upsizing the tires to a 34 inch ... So... I am finally ditching the Contental POS. I want to go with the Terra Grappler 295/70R18s on stock rims. Will these fit on a stock no lift, no level kit 2008 CC PSD F350 4x4?

Wondered if anyone would please share their experience with these tires.. I'm mounting them on Pintlers, 17 x 8.5 inch. Also, whether 315 is a good width or if I should do 325, or 305s. They're for my DD, 90% on road. Goodyear Duratrac 315/70/17: $235 BFG AT/KO 315/70/17: $232 Nitto Terragrapplers: 305/70/17: $235 Thanks! GJ

Another option is the nitto Dura grapplers, more of a street tread, but are meant to last, pulling my 10,000lbs Raptor trailer thru some muddy motocross parking lots is most likely the worst off road I will be doing, they may not look as good, they come in the 285 75 17 size also.

Bummer. I believe they were about $137 a few months back, and came down to $121 for a little while. Glad I got mine while they were that low You can still get the Toyo Open Country A/T in P265/70/17 from treadepot.com for $113/each plus shipping, which is about on par or slightly cheaper than the Nittos from DTD.

Post # 51 I am officially having to remove my Nitto TGs as Discount Tire won't rotate them any longer due to tread wear. This puts me right around 69,000 miles of use. I don't believe I ever got a flat either ...knock on rubber. Very pleased with the Nittos.
