"That Ben shall ensure that any club to which he is drafted has an appropriate drug and alcohol management program in place for its players that has met the approval of the AFL Medical Officers prior to the National Draft Selection Meeting and Pre-Season Draft Selection Meeting to be conducted in 2008. "That, from the date of this resolution, and in addition to any testing under the ...

But it works well other than that, Redd and Howard compliment each other as would Miller/Diop. How in the world is this good for the Mavs? We make the ...

I just would like to gain futher understanding in your reasoning in being opposed to a Hinrich (or Noce) salary dump: Do you think Hinrich and/or Noce could land us an All-Star, preferably a big man, via trade? Or one of these guys with other players on our roster. Do you think ...

It's my understanding that while the Quarterback manages the team on the field, it's the Head Coach that manages the team off the field. Granted there are many components that comprise the management of the team off the field, such as the Defensive and Offensive Coordination, and even within those two levels are the individual position coaching, but regardless of how it's broken up and ...

We are NOT making the playoffs this season, we should improve our team for the long haul. Dude I meant we're hurt. As you can see, our management isn't...

Sam Mitchell wasn't playing him, significantly reduced the number of plays he was running FOR Carter and otherwise didn't really put Carter into position to be super-effective, yes? He quit on the team. He didn`t give 100%. He sucked on purpose. He told ...

I'm going to go against the grain and side with Reid (the coach, not the gm) if someone's got to be picked to leave. I've been as frustrated with some of his decisions/calls and game management as anyone. However, was it his fault that McNabb couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with 30 seconds, and NO pressure, to throw? From a coaching standpoint, I think he's better than average, in spite ...

Of course, I'm predicating this on the assumption that Smith has a higher impact for the Hawks than Kaman could, but I don't think its too much of a leap. I don't see this as a trade-for-the-sake-of-trading trade at all. I see Johnson, Williams and Horford as the cornerstones of a tough half-court-...

Yeah, I hear you on the media circus, earlier in the year against the Chargers the Monday Night Crew wouldn't shut up. "Growing up Phillip Rivers had a poster on his wall.....guesss who it was? That's right it was Brett Favre." "One thing you can say about Brett Favre, he's out there having fun." "Brett Favre has a passion to play this game." "Brett Favre always saves his best for Monday Night."...

You let your big name guys walk. You let your UFAs who are due pay raises walk. You talk about 'only having $_ _ M to spend' on free agents. That is how teams that are in 'rebuilding mode' speak. Yeah, we won the division in 2007. Yeah we gave away the division in 2008, finishing only 2 games out. But don't kid yourself. We are in rebuilding mode. What money we had, we blew on Dunn ...

[Note: The usernames/handles in this story have been changed to protect the innocent and the otherwise]. So, I've been an FPS gamer for a long time. I go back to early Descent 1, and my husband has been around since before DOOM. It takes a pretty special game to get my attention these days, and Left 4 Dead has it. Damn fine game, that. I preordered just to get the demo early, and I have ...

The list topper isn't a big surprise, and it's nice to see Robert Johnson is back on the list. Maybe this time the powers that be will give him the vote. On August 28, 2008, Tony Trabert, President of the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum, announced the names of the five ballot nominees for possible Hall of Fame induction in July 2009. Nine-time Grand Slam Singles Champion and ...

This is an idea that came to me last night when I was thinking of a crunchier-than-Wushu system for Inquisitorial games. As people are well aware by now, I'm not impressed with Dark Heresy, neither the premise, nor the system. I like the Cinematic Unisystem, as per Angel. Indeed the Demon Powers creation section gives you a toolbox to handle psykers, mutation and augmetics. I prefer the way ...
