We know that you probably don't need help figuring out if what you're drinking is hot or cold, but that only makes these Smart Coasters all the more endearing. Essentially a solar cell trapped in waterproof resin, cold drinks light up blue and hot drinks light up red. Full instructions to build your own can be found in The Hungry Scientist Handbook (which runs about $12 at Amazon). But for the ...

Sasha I'm going to suggest setting up a buffet out of the way but near the kitchen (for serving and refreshing dishes) and allow everyone to congregate where they choose. Some will choose where the TV is. Some want to eat at a table with chairs. Uncle Don will want to be next to the drinks cabinet. The Republicans can get accidentally locked out in the hall. Small folding tea tables ...

Anything can kill someone if the circumstances are right. For example, there is a one in twenty billion chance of death by tea cosy (according to QI). Compare that to having a 1 in 1.5 billiion chance of being fatally injured on a roller coaster (according to this website I found). So, for every 19 people killed on a roller coaster, statistically one person dies because of a tea cosy.

Question Hello, My baton twirling club has invited a Japanese instructor (male, 25) to come to our country (in Europe) to teach our athletes for 4 days. This is an extremely big honour for our club and we want to be as polite as possible. For example: How to behave or what to say when we first meet him at the airport? What kind of gifts and and how many should we give? And when should...

Jasper smiled as he watched Rue eat. She really did have some strange habits involving food, but he obviously didnt mind. He also didnt mind going to the festival. It sounded like it would be a lot of fun and hed be able to spend some more time with Rue and her family. Taking another sip of his tea, he glanced around at everyone over the rim of his cup. Elaine laughed ...

So seeing as I've lived about 40 minutes away from Alton Towers my whole life, have visited every year since I was about 5 and experienced my first inversion on Corkscrew, I felt it only right that I make a trip on the farewell day and pay my respects. The weather was pretty abysmal early on, but brightened up later. Not sure if it was the weather or the fact that people assumed the park ...
