I have a 08 Jeep Wrangler with the 3.8v6 and once i hit 500miles with it, it developed a lifter tick. It runs fine, just makes noise. Dealer wont do anything about it and told me that they used to spend a lot of time chasing noisy lifters on the 4.7 v8's and the hemi's in the dodges and kept getting burned on the warranty payback from chrysler, so they don't spend a whole lot of time on it. ...

European and Import Motor Oils

These oils are in Australia ,and Yes, Edge and Syntec are meant to be the same, but i am not sure how much they differ. Do they blend the same brand oil the same in each country ??? I dont know....

and get grade A ***** oil and filter.... No thanks. I think I'll stick with my castrol syntec blend and mobile 1 filter (mobile 1 cheapened their formula so they don't get my oil business anymore).

motorcraft 5w-20 every 3-5,000 miles for me and i always change my filter every oil change no use recirculating the old stuff inside of filter with the new oil here in FL my oil is only ten bux and its still partial synthetic which is a good deal on my other non ford cars i use castrol syntec blend with a fram filter

Alpha is correct, not all the oil is the same. Its Valvoline Synthetic Blend , its contains synthetic properties but is not a full synthetic oil. Its just like castrol SYNTEC, its a synthetic blend hence why they can not call it castrol synthetic. As for Amsoil and royal purple: Amsoil is the longest manufacture for true synthetic oil and is therefor rated higher the mobile one, but ...
