The fix isn't complicated. Unfortunately, it relies on Apple. They need to release an updated Windows driver for the touchpad. Until they do, there will be no solution. From what I understand, the trackpad, at least on the current Mackbook Pro and Air is made by Broadcomm, not Synaptics. So synaptics drivers and control panel don't work.
