Hi. Recently I accidentally clicked on a website in google search that locked my Internet Explorer up to a point where it wouldnt close but it kept on executing whatever process it does to infect my computer. The File was called DelSelf.bat I believe. I tried to google it but apparently it had installed a rogue antivirus program that tried to get $50.00 out of me and kept denying me access ...

Here is the Hijack this log, but after I ran the Malwarebytes Antimalware utility, I am not sure I can find the log from the Malwarebytes utility but I will look. On a side note, what is weird is that I can recieve email via outlook but cannot get anywhere on the internet. Any help to get me up and running without a rebuild would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Jon Logfile ...

Hi... have tried this but sadly computer gernally says no... Malwarebytes installed fine but never ran a full scan to completion. After some trial and error i found that when it got the "system volume information" folder it simply hung and went no further. I have 2 partitions and it does the same on both. if i select that folder alone and right click and malware scan it, it just hangs again...
