S/O just left for the hospital. He woke with pain and discomfort through the lower groin area and he said the right testicle is swollen. He called telehealth who suggested he go to the hospital. Is this cause for major concern, has anyone else any experience with this? I posted this in CAC as well. Anyway, DS 2.5 is intact and around 11:30 am (3 hours ago now) started shrieking and ripping off his pants and diaper. His left testi is bright red, swollen and painful. Have had a swollen testi since Dec., doc says it is a hydrocoele (collection of fluid in the sack) and will get an ultrasound in mid Oct. to confirm diagnosis. Anyone else have this happen? Thanks!

I work as a nurse and we have a construction guy on the floor right now who took a 2x4 to the nut area---swelling! if the swelling stays up or gets worse go to the ER! now!...if not maybe some ice and rest....the speedo under the wetsuit is a good idea to keep things contained so they don't wander around and get wacked
