This subject seems to keep popping up every few days as more people read or hear that Suboxone or Subutex may be “The Answer” to their addiction Drug abuse and dependence problem. About two months ago the debate raged pretty intensely between those who were pro or con on Sub. Most of the regulars on this site know of my negative experience with Sub –as I have tried my best to share it...

I'm still withdrawling from suboxone, 45 days after I stopped. However, I didn't taper like you did over 2 months, but instead over five days. Also, I was opiate dependent for over 20 years, with 15 on both methadone and heroin. Still, i've never had a withdrawal experience like this one. Not very intense, but it keeps on going, just like the Energizer bunny. It may be because I transitioned from...

When I was put on Suboxone, which was about ten months ago it worked like a miracle drug I was in full withdrawal of oxycontin, which I was taking under Doctor's care for about three years. I never had a problem with it. It worked on me about 30-45 minutes after I took it. I slept good and and never had a headache from it. It totally stopped all of my withdrawal symptoms. It is the best med's that...

Hey everybody, I started to go through withdrawals and then my excuse was I was in too much pain (I'll explain that in a minute) so I went back out and used. Currently, I'm starting withdrawals again and am waiting to take the subutex. I was told to wait until I had all of the withdrawal symptoms, and I don't have the stomach problems yet. Just yawning, watery eyes, hot/cold sweats. I have ...

I was initially skeptical when I read your post, obviously substituting one opiate for another seems too easy. I had to go off Oxy cold turkey which I DO NOT recommend to anyone. I chose not to take other replacements to stave off the withdrawal Delirium tremens symptoms but it was hell. So my question is - did the subutex work in the end or did it just postpone the inevitable? Please...

Their dad is balder than my dad, but both the brothers have perfect hair. I have even talked to them about this and they've told me hairloss ...

Replying to: Need Suboxone Advice Hey Pinkegg, Many Sub docs are notoriously bad, and I think you got 1 of them. He should have had you off the Sub at least 2 weeks ago, and more like 3 weeks ago. After 4 weeks on Sub you're hooked on the Sub. So now totally stopping will be difficult. However, take heart, because the sooner you quit, the better. I myself am on Subutex maintenance (not ...
