Stress plays a critical role in life. It can help you accomplish work timely and accurately, promote healthy competition, and force you to evaluate problems and formulate creative solutions. It can also hamper your ability to effectively perform your job, thereby reducing your chances of promotion; interfere with your capacity to sustain relationships; and lead to physical illness. So, how do you...

Hello. I'm 10 weeks pp and I have a few questions. First of all, I've noticed that if I have a stressful day at work, I seem to pump less while I'm there. I currently have to pump twice at work and I get less at those pumps than at any other. After a few days of getting a few less ounces because of stress will those ounces be lost forever or will they come back when less stressed? Any idea...

Hi Ladies I read an interesting article last week about how stress can create a hostile environment for our OH's little swimmers and it got me thinking. I know my hubby doesn't have the greatest swimmers but his results are not what you would describe as catastrophic by any means. I am under a great deal of pressure at work and I am wondering if perhaps this isn't ...

If I am dealing with a lot of stress at work and have exhausted my Coverage by FMLA, what else can be done to file suit against my company for stress/Depression? I have told many supervisors that the level of stress is too much yet nothing changes. I need to take action against this company, they are not doing anything to fix it.

Stress can definitely cause a loss of ounces. Sometimes they just come back, but sometimes you have to work for them too. 12 weeks isn't a hard and fast number, but an average for most women. Your first 12 weeks PP are still hormone heavy, and hormones dictate your supply; why skin to skin contact is so important. After 12 weeks it becomes more 'supply and demand'. Ounces are easy to lose ...

I recently read an article that said due to the economy today those employees who do have jobs are likely to be subjected to a larger workload, and thus face as much stress as those let go in lay offs. If the job is such that you personally can not handle the stress, yet co-workers continue to perform well, it's not the employer's responsibility to reduce your stress load. If you have a ...
