A VERY good sugar free cookie. Just remember to watch how many you eat. My goodness, how could I let you down after that nice build-up... (LOL) Are you looking for a gluten-free pizza crust, or are you avoiding bleached/unbleached flour (wheat)? An all-cornmeal crust would be really gritty. Even corn flour would present a lot of problems because of the absense of gluten. Think how tough corn tortillas are. I created this recipe years ago. we buy alot of name brands - don't try too much of the generics - if you know of one that's tried and true, i'm not averse to using it. i want to try jow's rec re: bissel brand shower cleaner - she's a chemist, so, i'm thinking it's probably a good ref. i tried generics in vinegar and bleach -and, there is a difference! the generics were garbage - so, heinz and clorox are the only ones i buy ... |

For regular oatmeal, does every use the regular, long-cooking old fashioned Quaker Oats? I did grab a package of some Bob's Red Mill oats, they are extra thick or something like that, but also more than double the price of a container of Quaker that is more than double size larger! Just wanted to make sure those were ok -- what about the store brand regular oats, same thing? Thanks!... |

I made these yesterday. I am not much on Oatmeal anything-other than as a hot breakfast food. These are GOOD. I would suggest dumping the can of apple pie filling into a separate dish and cut the slices into smaller pieces.
