Cool! I love talking with people who bring different points of view to a topic. I always end up learning something, even if it is me who is wrong. I would rather be corrected, than do something the wrong way all my life! Now, would it be bad if you were to shift into neutral in order to coast, and hopefully save a few measly drops of gasoline. here is the deal. when rolling down the road and slowing to a stop, at about 7 or 8 mph i feel two small "bumps " in the transmission, then after i stop it takes about 4 full seconds for the trasmission to go down into first gear, you can feel it bump when it goes into first. If you start to drive off before it goes into first you will have no power, and then it will "hit " first ...

Here are the details: 2000 S80-no complaints of runability until a test drive the other day. I was at a complete stop, put my foot on accelerator, and there was a ...

I posted this before, but I went down to Salem, MO for the 100 Acre Wood Rally as a volunteer. We actually had real winter weather this time--snow, freezing rain, sleet. On Thursday I was helping with set-up by going down the stages to put up banner tape. On one back road I came up a hill and right after the crest it turned to the right. I was able to get the car to start turning, but on the ...
