Big thanks to Omar at Active Autowerke for the hook up on the Active Autowerke software! Before offering my opinion on the software itself, I have to give a lot of credit for the ultra quick turnaround time. The ECU was sent out (Friday via 2 day air), flashed (Monday) and returned (Thursday via 2 day air). A total of 5 days from uninstall to reinstall! As some have said ...

Hi guys, Don't know where to start it's been a long storey. I have an 2000 ML 270 which I bought as salvage and repaired. Post repair it had a couple of gearbox issues, they were resolved by a gearbox specialist and as part of the repair they changed the MAF. The car drives fine, or so I thought, if you really floor it it cuts out at about 3200rpm. Not nice on the M6. Anyway I had ...

Didn't get any sort of splash into my filter nor was ir submerged, but I'm guessing that continuous 'spray' from my wheel and every car around me on the highway earlier eventually soaked the filter and penetrated it I was driving then tried accelerating but the engine violently shook around 4-5k rpm as though the rev limiter was stepping in. It wont accelerate past those revs. I got home ...

Here's my gimmick. Variable Ride Height "Prelude VRH". We all love our low cars and we all hate those yellow 4" high stripes in the parking lot. It would be a fairly simple task to put something like corner sensors in the front bumper that sense deviations in the cars path which automatically raise the vehicle using either airbag or hydraulic solenoids. let's steal the technology from the RDX...

They didnt remove the topspeed limiter . they raised it. The 2008 E92 M3 will do 220 mph with it removed . In that case you will need tires rated for over 200 mph . BMW tuner in germany Hartege has the top speed limiter removal program for 220 mph with special tires. that the only way they will sell it to you and its a lot $$$$$$$. Quote: Originally Posted ...

EMS is Power FC which has an adjustable rev limiter. The only oil system upgrades I have are an FD oil pressure regulator. When I pulled the engine apart there didn't appear to be any problems with the stationary gears or bearings.
