Forgot to add, but the Springfield Armory pistols were originally finished in rust blue, or "browning" as they called it then, and the Colts were finished in a coal fired oven. The Springfield blue is a duller softer blue color, while the Colt is a more intense blue with some shine. If the blue on the slide and receiver match, it has been reblued.
