Best shaver for spotty skin

The day I shave with my trimmer my spots seem to get worse. I was just wondering if anyone knows what would be the best type of shaver (electric/blade etc) to use so this does not happen as my spots seem to clear up a few days after shaving but once again get worse straight after I shave. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hey mate, I have pretty terrible skin, and have a prescription of Oxytetracycline tablets and Acnecide Gel (10%) from my GP Which basically gets rid of them completely, so that might be something worth looking into if you have a spot problem in general. Hi, Thanks for replying. You'll have to let me know how you get on with your doctors. I have read stuff on the net but nothing really says the same. Some say it will clear up after 4-6 months, others say a year. They all seem to say that it affects boys more than girls and that its to do with the hormones passed from mum to baby just before they are born....... (thought it might be my fault! ...

Hi, Thank you for both replies. In answer to the questions, Yes they are just confined to his face. I have read all sorts on the net. Some sites say it should go in 4-6months others a year. The marks are there all the time, so the skin never looks clear and then he'll get a red spot like mark which then shows as a white head and then a few days later disappears but the cheeks can turn red ...

oily/spotty skin side effect

I am seriously considering rhinoplasty but some comments about it affecting the skin - oil and spots has made me scared. I have very good skin at the moment and i am worried i would sacrifice this for a better nose. Try steaming your face. Put your face over a basin of hot water & let the steam open up your pores, then use a nose needle (av in Body Shop) to get rid of the 'gunk' in your pores. I too am scared of getting bad skin post-op .
