Ok... got them mounted without incident... But the rear "spindle hub post" is too tall and pops the badge right out... Fronts fit like gloves... rears would only stay if you have an extender of some sort... yet another project

If I had the time, I'd do those. That's fairly easy spindle turning. Post something in the turner's forum pointing to your classified posting and I'm sure someone will jump on that. Mike [Oh, I can see the pictures now.]

If you get a definitive answer, please post it. I plan on running an ENO VBC double crank and I too have a 113 spindle. I'm guessing it will work minus the spacers.

sounds like you are missing the flat, splined washer. it is supposed to go between the circlip (snapring, whatever you want to call it that goes aroung the axleshaft) and the spindle. This thread pictures the washer and circlip in the first post. Push the shaft out from the back of the steering knuckle, should be just hand pressure to make it come out enough to put the washer and circlip on...

very detailed answer. Actually I got the problem just last week, and I tried it today in junkyard, I failed to take out the hub from the spindle. You post answered my question exactly in another thread. I know a lot of auto shops are very small, do they have the right hydrolic pressure machine to do this job? and how much will be a fair deal?

Made quite a bit of progress since the last post. Got spindle indexing working. I am currently using the index pulse out of the 2500 line encoder through a 555 one shot timer to get a pulse length long enough to trigger the opto22 input module. A EE friend of mine came up with a little circuit that will divide the output of the encoder by 625 and give me 4 pulses, one longer than the rest to ...

Not understanding, I think I said spindle in a post above but meant the 4th axis. If that's what you're talking about do you mean lock it after I reach the position I want before actual milling?

You had told me on an earlier post that my rim is for an 85-86 250R so I guess I will have to find an 83-84 spindle and make new spacers or find an 83-84 rim. Another question I have is what front tires do you guys recommend? It will be for general use and trails here in Ohio. I have considered using the TRI-Z front rim since I have a spindle and it will work however it is an inch taller...
