So, I am back!  After a month of travel we are back home.  Briefly, we traced half of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.  First we camped for a week in Alabama.  FUN!  Then we drove to St Charles (St Louis) to follow the Missouri River path of Lewis and Clark's keel boat.  Lots of wonderful experiences the whole way!!  Then to Kansas City where we stayed with friends.  Then to Nebraska City and ...

A couple years ago I went to Texas.Brought 2 does and 1 buck home.You could not tates the difference.Last year we hunted in South Dakota.The mule deer were in full rut.Again there is no difference in flavor between the bucks and does we brought back.May be its that corn feeding that made the difference.I agree that quick cooling is a good thing.I normally hunt in August/September.Temps can be ...

thats a great buck. my grandpa has land in south dakota and we see monster bucks all the time but that is prob just as big if not bigger than the bucks we see and get.
