I tried doing the South Beach Diet last week and by Friday night I bailed. I had a fun, splurgey weekend and thought I'd try again this morning. No such luck. I love my fruits, whole grains, cereal, and snacks way too much. I did, however, make a great dinner menu for the week and still plan on following it. I know that I was always looking for ideas and menus so I thought I'd post this in case ...

Zeffryn and Anne - you guys ROCK! Wow! I mean, I know it's possible, I am just a little frustrated with myself for not having stuck with it completely. My biggest problem (breastfeeding aside) is not being 100% sold on the concept of PH1, so I did add a piece of wholegrain toast here and there, or an apple. I don't want to sound negative, but Ph1 is not exactly the model of healthy eating. Having...

I've been getting a "Not Found" message on my reply space, grrrr..so I haven't been able to answer, period. I also don't have as much time to answer everyone individually. I hope y'all don't mind my generalized answering... Welcome back Marilyn, Karen, Ken and Noreen!! Sorry to whoever I missed...Wow, it's nice to see the board thriving again. But now, I don't have as much time to spare....

Good morning and happy Saturday I have some shopping to do this morning and then will stop over Mom's for lunch. OMT will try to catch up with me (and my shy abs) sometime today. I hope we can coordinate a time. When you aren't paying....well, you take the coaching when it is offered. I had a revelation this morning. I tried on my jeans from last fall that fit nicely (and haven...

Your situation is very close to mine. I scored 156 on my one hour test, which my doctor said " is not that bad" but it does put you in the GD category... This is a life changing experience....and a good one at that. We all battle with weight wither its obsessing over being thin or just not doing enough.... and yes thin people get GD as well. Having GD MAKES you realize that obsessing or ...

Fawn, I don't know you very well...but I've read a few of your responses to various posts. I'm curious to know what your average daily menu looks like. What plan do you follow (if any in particular). I'm doing a bit of testing on myself. My problem area is with full fats such as natural peanut butter, whole eggs, whole milk cheese, and high fat meat. Since I've had WLS (gastric ...

It would take a good developer 10 minutes or less to output the custom items in alphabetical order or to enable a mass delete of custom items. The only way to easily find something for adding to my list right now is CTRL F. Therefore, it's easier just to keep writing things in. Do you know how much redundancy fills your database because people like me (paying customer, by the way) ...

I close my eyes. I tip my head back. The morning sun shines on my face. I hear the soothing rhythmic crash of the gentle surf on the beach. I am weightless as I swim in the warm, Mexican water. I reach my arms out I let them float with the water. I savor the moment and internalize every heart beat. Light breeze. Not a cloud in the sky. I hear a few cries of delight in the distance. ...
