Hey, to put this simply... Got a new PC Installed my copy of soundforge 9.0 The only update availableis Soundforge 9.0e, but I've used c or d (can't remember which). Anyway, version e is acting very strange when it comes to using certain effects plugins. It has also displayed a few strange errors. Everything else on this new PC is working very well. Obvious solution would be to go to...

Not that we know. Please send a Keymap sample file that SF9 reports as "illegal" to support@redmatica.com , and we'll check into that.. Andrea Redmatica

That would be a no. In fact many like myself have gone back to SF 8.0. If you came in at 9.0, then you wouldn't feel the workflow pain introduced with 9.0 (missing crossfades, etc) as the rest of experienced SF users.

Acid and Soundforge. Easy to use, multiple tracks, and the ability to use loops. It's what I used for years until recently. Now I'm all Mac. If Acid worked on my Mac, I'd probably still be using it. I'll PM you with it Monday or Tuesday. Got too much going on today.

I think the soundforge equivalent for a mac would be one of the Logic packages. They have Express, Studio, and Pro. I think Express is like $200, but I have heard nothing but good things about Logic.

Hi, I am beginning to route all my synths and outboard via my soundcard (Delta 1010) and through Cubase 4, which I think is a GREAT feature. The 8 ins / outs on the 1010 is limiting, due to the amount of gear I own, so need to see what's out on the market. I've always been fond of the RME FF800, which has up to 56 record / playback channels, but it still only has 8 analogue ins & outs....
