On my old 32 bit lenny machine, I managed to get a Star-Eye web cam working using the gspca drivers. The image quality was not great but at least the image was there. I have recently purchased a 64 bit machine, installed lenny 64 bit, and then installed the gspca drivers. Now when I run something like cheese, the web cam light goes red indicating that something is happening, but the image is ...

yep, doing so does (at least mostly) addresses the issue. You end up with two routes to the subnet but they have different 'metrics'. In fact, it pretty well stuffs your chances of 'split tunnelling' so in this aspect is maybe more secure. When the VPN is connected you have the route to 192.etc through the VPN having a lower metric (higher priority), so that's where traffic goes. If ...

Welcome to Talkzilla SPC. If you are going to play the NASCAR game with us next year please stop by the NASCAR board and I'll add your name to the Ibox. I think your oil change intervals should be in your owners manual, but there are a ton of theories on it: Oil Change Intervals Paradise Garage http://oilstudy.spacebears.com...

Hi All, I have huge problem that I'm trying to solve for more than a week and I need advice. My app is a Border Controller (BC) that forward RTP packets between two endpoints in two different networks (it defines the IPs and port dynamically). Each network has its own default gateway thus each network connects to the BC through its own interface. Scenario description: Endpoint A (IP=10...

Using MBSA 2.0 or 2.0.1 - which are no longer in support - may cause these errors on a Windows XP Embedded platform. MBSA 2.1 has been improved to provide more useful warnings and messages on Windows XP Embedded. Bill is correct in referrring to the MBSA FAQ (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/cc184 922.aspx) - where I have added the two relevant sections regarding firewall ...

Video Over IP

Hello! I have a problem establishing point-to-point video calls between different endpoints. The scheme is as follows. CCM has a GK-controlled trunk connection to an IOS gatekeeper on a 2821. CCME also registers there as a gateway. I also have Polycom SVX 7000 video terminal that registers with the same GK. On the CCME there is one registered 7940 IP phone that has a notebook connected to...

I will try to give a little detail to this rather than simply solve. I am a little tired so pardon any typos. I will refer to vectors using an arrow, →, rather than bold text. And I will use a component notation for vectors < i 's coefficient, j 's coefficient > i.e. a = i - 2 j becomes a→ = < 1, -2 > Given a→ = < 1, -2 > b→ = < -3, 1 > c→ = < -1, -3 > Required Find x...
