Hiya stockdude tin welded up, and tight as a nats chuff. Engine out and rubber sealed the rear fanhousing tins. Reset up the flaps and thermostat. Managed to get to Vanfest, Just using a 145 main jet on the single solex. I know its huge for a std engine but 125s were my other option and i think they are too small for a van from what i've read and advise you gave me. Big jet made no difference ...

Anyone remember what type (main, idle, etc) and size is the jet located in the bottom of the float bowl of a stock Solex 34 PICT 3? Thanks, Nathan

does anybody happen to know the size the jets the empi solex single40mm dual carb kit comes with? i wanted to upgrade my exhaust and wana make sure its atleast a 125 so itl still run good with the backpressure that will be removed. thanks a bunch!

Shoot AJ Simms an email at http://www.lowbugget.com   not only should he be able to tell you what jets you have but if you tell him what engine your running he should beable to tell you what would be the best set-up.

I’m attempting to return to the stock jetting values for my P-car (2.0l, S cams, 30mm intake port heads , Zenith 40 TIN Carburetors) 55# Idle, 130# Mains, 180# Air Correction. Can anyone suggest a preferred vendor for jets? I’ve been able to locate the idle and main jets via VW aftermarket sources (lots of jets carried under the Solex/Brosol brand names) however I’m having difficulty sourcing ...
