I'm considering getting myself tested. I'm always tired. Just assumed it was a side effect of my work, but now I'm not so sure. My girlfriend says I snore like crazy and sometimes she thinks I stop breathing for a bit. I've put on about 40 lbs since high school (15 years ago) and I'm sure that doesn't help. I figure my choices are to actually lose the weight, and/or get tested and try...  |

Re: Snoring... I do the same thing to my wife. I have a bad snoring problem. We solved it by going to bed at the same time (or her just a little bit earlier) because its only a problem when she is trying to fall asleep. If I do happen to wake her up by snoring, she just kinda shakes me a bit and I stop long enough for her to sleep more... |

I know, I had a guy crash in my room for a couple of weeks once, and he didn't just snore loudly, but also irregularly. I'd get used to the loud snoring but sometimes he'd stop for 10 seconds in mid-snore, which'd instantly wake me up. And when you wake up suddenly, you have this moment between opening your eyes and realising what's going on, which'd be filled with panic because I thought he'd ... |

It is nearly Sunday evening here... Sundays are always busy for us. Matt got his C- PAP working. A good friend of ours works for a company who sets those machines up. He came over yesterday and reset it for Matt. Last night was much better. When he wears it, he doesn't snore! Which means I don't have to wear earplugs any more...yeah! I hope that it works well while we are at Disney... |
