I have been using a Lumix FZ-5 for many years now. It's a terrific camera all in all, some noise issue, lack of manual focus, but nevertheless, a good piece of equipment. When I shot on film, I used the Canon AE-1 SLR or a Olympus RD-35 rangefinder, which has been my favorite camera so far. I realize that its not all in the equipment of course. All i'm saying is that the stuff that ppl wanted to see in this body didnt happen, but they got a video camera. If canon didnt spend their time on the video camera and included the things that were going to make the next gen body that much better, we'd be complanin' bout somthing else. It is probably the case that things are changing... |
