B4:B12 and C4:C12 are not single results, but constant data, which could be set in the formula as fixed number. May be, that makes building of a fun

Which shows the equation of a line, in slope-intercept form, that passes through the point (-6, 3) and has slope 2? Find the equation of the line, in standard form, that combines the points (-7, 9) and (3, -7). Find the equation of the line, in slope-intercept form, that contains the points (-5, 9) and (-5, -2).

The standard form is y=mx+b, with m representing the slope, and b representing the y-intercept Formulas to use: The Slope Formula: m= y1-y2/x1-x2 The Point-Slope Formula = y-y1 = m(x-x1) For #1, use the point slope formula. Set it up as this: y-3 = 2(x-(-6)) Because 3 is the y coordinate of the point, and -6 is the x coordinate of the point. Continue the problem, simplifying it ...

8x-3y=6 So -3y=-8x+6 y=8/3x-2 Since equation is in the form y=mx+c, y intercept, c=-2 gradient, m=8/3 Since gradient is +ve, the slope is increasing Equation of line: y=8/3x-2 So to find points, u just have to replace: when x=0, y=-2 x=3/4, y=0 and so on...

Use the formula y= mx+c therefore for 1) rearrange the formula to y= 4/2 x - 18/ 2 y= 2x - 9 from this you can see that m is the gradient of the slope therefore slope/gradient = 2 and y intercept is -9 2) 2x + 5 =-1 2x=-6 2x +6 =0 so slope = 2 y intercept is 6 3) slope is 3 and y intercept = -3 4) Rearrange the formula 4y = -8 - 6x y = -8/4 - ...

Circle C and line K lie in the xy plane. If circle C is centered at the origin and has radius 1 , does line K intersect circle C?? (1) The x intercept of line k is greater than 1 (2) The slope of line K is -1/10 CAn someone plz. explain what information do we need to check if a line intersect a circle or not.

IMO, E The best way to solve this question is to draw a graph statement 1--> we only know what the x-intercept is , but we have no idea what the slope of the line is. If line K has a very small slope and intersects the x-axis at 2,3,4..the line will intersect the circle if the x-intercept is a relatively large number with a high slope, it will not intersect the circle...INSUFFICIENT...
