Hey, i just noticed on my front wheel today (XT Enduro Wheelset), that i have one spoke that is ever so slightly not straight, and the paint on it is slightly rubbed off. The wheels are brand new and i think the bending has occurred in transport. The wheels are going in to be re-tensioned/trued tomorrow as i've been riding them for a bit now and want them checked over. What would you ...

Is there a way to bend back the rear triangle where the derailler hanger is located? It is slightly bent in toward the wheel. Thank you for any suggestions.

I just ordered a refurbished Macbook Pro (pre-October model) from the Apple Store. It's beautiful and works fine. However, when I close the lid, the right side doesn't quite meet the base. You can fit about 18-20 sheets of paper in the gap. On the left side, it meets flush, with only about 1 sheet of paper to spare. This means there's a very slight "wiggle" in the lid as you can rock it...

I just got my new Macbook pro yesterday and I love the computer, I just installed Vista and it took me 3 hours just to install and update it. Anyways when i have my notebook flat on the desk I noticed that the bottom right is a little elevated, that I could push it down and it moves. That doesn't bother me much but.... When I close the lid the left side is about 1-2 milliliter...

So, if you were following my other thread, you know I did a little damage to the rear of my car. I've started taking it apart: The first thing I noticed, there is a buckle in the trunk area: And, next to the bumper shock mount on the right side, you can see where the caulk on a seam split open (the white line above the tow hook): It took me a while to open...

Hey guys, I just got the new MacBook. When I looked in the ethernet port, the beginning of the pins look slightly bent. Not awkwardly bent, but just "pressed" against the bottom of the port. So it starts out pressed against the bottom (flat) for the first couple mm, then goes diagonally upward like most ethernet ports do. Can anyone with the new macbook, tell me what...

I bought an old Y-flyer yesterday basically for the trailer under it. It is in pretty bad shape. In fact, there is a fiberglass copy of the hull profile sitting on top of the old hull where someone had started to build a modern version of the boat by hand. The mast appears to have been strapped down across the bottom of that hull and pulled down hard enough to shape it over the hull. Is ...

After using my Thinkpad T61 for about 2 months, I just knew there was something that didn't feel quite right about the build quality. The palmrest showed a noticeable amount of flex, and one of the rubber feet was elevated 1-2mm off any flat surface (only the center part would touch the table). This basically meant that the frame wasn't completely straight on my Thinkpad. I compared ...

ok so a month ago i had a small accident with my bike and dropped it on it's side. I replaced the crank cover, stator coil, handle bars, and foot peg. All is well the with bike with the exception of the fork. I went for a test ride today and noticed that the alignment is off. When the handle bars are straight, the wheel slightly pulls to the left while rolling. To go straight, i compensate the ...

The wheel is slightly out of true, but not at the point of the bent spoke. Thanks for the input, i'm not really worried about it at all, i'll see what the shop says, if it isn't going to take too long to get a replacement spoke in i'll get them to replace it. Wal.
