The Skyy is my first carry pistol and I've been carrying about a month now. I looked at all the carry pistols the gun dealer had, then said I wanted one that was fun to shoot too. He said the Skyy was what I needed. It had the best combination of power, weight, size and safety and price. The gun appeared to be well made. I've been pleased so far. The gun is easy to shoot. They're american made for the same reason Bryco/Jennings are; to skirt importation laws regarding small pistols. I believe they are considered to be in the same general class as Bryco/Jennings, which is to put it nicely, a cheaply made entry level gun. Without getting into an argument about the subject here, if it's all you can afford, so be it. But there are better quality arms ...
