The Skyy is my first carry pistol and I've been carrying about a month now. I looked at all the carry pistols the gun dealer had, then said I wanted one that was fun to shoot too. They're american made for the same reason Bryco/Jennings are; to skirt importation laws regarding small pistols. I believe they are considered to be in the same general class as Bryco/Jennings, which is to put it nicely, a cheaply made entry level gun.
