Hi, I'm on the free sky broadband package (speed should be up to 2MB) and am getting VERY slow speeds, approx 0.4 on the speed test. Does anyone have experience of upgrading from the free service to the £5 per month service and the affect this has on the speed of connection? Is it worth it, or is the cause of my slow speed more likely to be because of old phone wires / distance to the exchange ...

Baka naman kasi puro leechers o walang seeders? Mabagal nga talaga yan. Sky schedules their throttling of Bandwidth during the afternoon into the evenings okay yung speeds sa umaga but as the day goes on mabagal na yung mga downloads mo. Minsan vice versa depende sa location. They apply this to P2P traffic. Have you ever noticed that it is even more diffciult now to download a torrent ...

DON'T get Sky broadband unless you are in an area that they offer it for free to their TV customers. We used to get it for free in London and had no probs, now we're in Kent it's £17 a month and slow.
