I'm curious if anyone has ever heard of such a thing. Yup, Crusher gets redder in his rusty spots during the winter. The black on his back turns lighter. His nose turns pink, or at least gets a pink stripe down it in the winter too. And he developed a black spot on his tongue around a year, year and a half. A bit of rust comes out around his ears too in winter, its not usually there in summer. I posted this before but got no answers. I took my 2 year old Malinois to the ve about 6 weeks ago because he was constantly itching and had hives up his back. Put him on antibiotics and cotricosteriods and it cleared up. I notice now he has black spots on his skin, some raised, some not. Some in groups some single. FYI my daughter used the furminator on her long coat from me until she pulled most her fur off. She then started to itch, get infections, etc. She gets Taste of The Wild, Bison was doing her fine.
