I got the Bianchi San Jose on eBay (the same guy from Craigslist) for about $515 plus $65 shipping and I really like it. At first I thought the geometry was uncomfortable and it really bothered me but I pretty much got used to it and now I like it a lot. There is no suspension fork or anything so bumps are pretty rough but that's not a huge deal, I just don't go up curbs anymore...

forget fixie culture. ebay has made (especially commuter) cycling possible for lots of people who consider $500 a lot for a bike.
