Hi, my tenant just moved out after buying a property in Singapore. A 2 Bedroom unit, with full condominium facilities such as swimming pool, tennis court, squash court, gym, etc available for short term stay, near Serangoon MRT station. (5 mins walk). I think that Singapore is a nicer place and it is easier to get around than in Dubai. It offers many countries on the doorstep with an oriental appeal for everyone. If you have a good job then you can do well there. In spite of that my recommendation is still for the Middle East and if the comparison is between Dubai and Spore then I reluctantly recommend Dubai because simply it has more ...

TMD - He goes to an expat kindy so there is actually only 3 out of the 10 kids are Chinese .. The rest are from elsewhere.... There is 1 English and 1 CHinese teacher (who also speaks English) and 2 "ayis" (helpers) that are Chinese. THe lessons are bilingual so hopefully DS will pick up some Chinese... We bought a house in Tasmania (dont ask why - I have never been there...Good rental ...

I'd still pay the extra and fly with Singapore, the way things are going I'm hoping all the airlines will have to lay on some special offers over the coming year to keep all those big planes filled up to profitable levels!
