I have no idea if it will work with sim cards, but I have found a program called 'Recuva' useful for finding lost files. Don't think it will work if the data has been corrupted tho.

My old Iphone wont work!! i was planing on selling it so i did the reset all option from inside the phone. It cleared everything but it wouldnt load up because it said i needed a sim card, yeah i lost mine. It wont work at all and it wont even be detected by itunes. It wont go into recovery mode either.
