I don't have a 21X, but I have an older iPAQ and have had a number of others. The limits on transfer speed are primarily dictated by Microsoft's Windows and Sync software. There is nothing especially "wrong" with your 21X, PC, software, or USB components that is causing this. Well, actually there is, but there aren't any alternatives (that I know of) - it's just part of WM and iPAQs....
