Sounds like a good deal on the XD40SC w/night sights. It's not as slim as a Kahr or most other single stack mag semi-autos, but I think they still conceal well enough. Are the Walther P99 and PPS single stacks? They seem fairly small, but I'm not sure. I'm not crazy about either gun but some people love them. Good suggestions above on the Sig P6/P225 and P239. Pricey but stellar reps ...

I have both of these (Colt 6920 and SIG556 SWAT) and here is my two cents. For what you are talking about I guess that I would be inclined to go with the SIG556 (but I wouldn't go with the SWAT version unless you get a really good deal on one) My main reason for going with the SIG556 is the ability/inability to keep it clean while hiding out in the woods. Truthfully, that is the only reason I ...

I have the P2000 9mm v3 and P2000sk 9mm v2. I like them both and would carry either. I happen to like a DA/SA gun, but the v2 is a much "safer" DAO system than the Glock, XD & MP systems IMHO. I also have a USP40c and it is very comfortable to shoot. I would not hesitate to get either the P2000 or sk in 40. Unless you have very small hands, if you get the sk, I would suggest getting the flat...

Hi Kennewick100, Welcome to the SIGforum. I too have a p226 which I really like. Wanting a CCW that had the same feel and operation as the P226 I picked up a P239. Both guns will eat through JHP's which I use for self defense. For target shooting I use FMJ. I also carry a P230 (has been superceded with the P232) which I think is one of the best .380's available. Same funtionality as the ...

I have a P225 (not a P6) that I just bought 2 months ago. It is a CPO with a AC date code on it. I finally got to shoot it this weekend and it is really accurate. I want to make the gun my CCW but I had one small malfunction that has me concerned. First, I usually buy Winchester FMJ (white box ammo) for target but this time I bought some Blazer Brass 115 grain at Walmart for about $3 ...

Todd's feedramp modification on my P6 barrel looks great! He also took care of another fit-up issue for me very quickly, so I can't wait to get back to the range with it. Todd, Thanks again! ST SIG Sauer P6, Beretta Px4 Storm 9 mm, Winchester Model (1890 or 1906, with replacement barrel)
