In some respects, the SIG-Sauer P239 is a perfect handgun for me. It is slim, has a great trigger, and fires a potent cartridge. However, the .40 S&W remains the stepchild of my collection. Somewhat reluctantly, I am selling it to further invest in the antiquated 9mm and .45-ACP calibers. I bought the P239 new in 2003 for $600. I have put about 400 flawless rounds through it, but...

I was wondering if someone can school me on the variations of the P239. The most information that I can really find was from Massad Ayoob when the gun was first manufactured in 1995. I have a immaculate sig p239 two-tone .40 cal I have only used it for home defense and it has had maybe 100 rounds through it. The only reason I am getting rid of it is because my duty weapon is going to be a Glock 22 so I want to get a Glock 23 for off duty and back up. Here are some pics. I will sell it for $500.00.
