Hi All, This is my first time on this site. I've had Colitis for 7 years now and have had my fair share of ups and downs with the condition. I finally found a glimpse of hope in Remicade. This is a bit late in responding to your post but Valium and the Prednisone can cause the irritability. My daughter experienced severe aggression and irritability from the Valium. It wasn't like that at first. My speculation is that her body was becoming addicted to it. Once we were off of it, the transition with moods was like night and day. I think you talking about IV steriods not interferones. Yes they have some side effects but for me I always get a clean house out of it because I have so much energy and can hardly sleep for days. Nothing to be nervous about, many of us with MS have had this multiple times. In fact many people me included perfer to do it at home, it saves alot of time. |

Yes, I know I'm 15 but the ignorance in this thread needs addressing. first of all they're is no research confirming or denying any of teh side effects anyone has mentioned. The only completely known affect steroids have are muscle growth, with that being said steroid abuse can be very dangerous but responsible use by mature ADULTS is quite safe. first off steroids have been known to cause liver ... |

Hey, after watching a video about greg valentinos muscle "exploding" and supposably it wasnt because if the steriods themself, but the filthy manner he injected them. With dirty needles. I am 36 years old and have chronic refractory asthma which typically doesnt respond to traditional treatments. Are there any other people out there who are on methotrexate for their asthma? I am on 15mg one day a week, which just so happens to be the day that i now collapse on, get multiple bruising all over my body, strange lump formations on the back of one of my calves among many other side ... |
