Some short scripts are shallow and without deep meaning. Some short scripts are the perfect length for the story they are telling Some long scripts are muddled and confusing. Some long scripts are epic, full of great character arcs and story development that could never take place in less than 110 pages. Blanket statements suck. Avoid them at all costs. The two ladies I saw QoS with both love Daniel Craig and really enjoyed Casino Royale. Neither of them liked QoS, and one even fell asleep briefly during it. Both commented that they thought the movie was just a bunch of action scenes tacked together with little story or character development. It was a good movie. WIll SMith was brilliant. But this movie could have been great. It could have been a cult classic. But the story sucked. There really wasn't a story. It didn't go anywhere.
