Hey Ladies, I spent my morning leisurely strolling through a bunch of stores out on Bald Hill. I wanted to let everyone know that there's FABULOUS stuff at Homegoods, Tues Morning, Michaels, and the XMas tree Shop. HGoods: Non traditional cake servers, cake stands, bird cages and lanterns for cards, damask patterned stuff (a TON of this). Tuesday Morning: Damask towels (this is for the knottie ...

Good morning everyone. I'm settling in at work after making an appointment to get my eyes checked. I desperately need new glasses. The lady at the shop disappointed me by telling me that I can't get new lenses in my old frames (not the ones I now wear) because the frames are too brittle. Another expense that I don't really need but unavoidable. I just get ticked every time I go to the eye ...

Approx 2 blocks from work this morning I felt a "shimmy" while cornering. Accelerating from the stop sign 100 feet from the parking lot entrance it seemed worse. Once I parked, I discovered a rear tire was flat and the side wall in now junk. So my lunchtime will consist of changing the tire. Oh, for anyone interested after reading the thread below about winter... its 25F (-4C) right now....

Call your local public utility. Many will come out and light the pilot light if your unit is natural gas or propane. I would also call your landlord ASAP. All of the service companies will be swamped with calls. I speak from personal experience. I have worked for an air conditioning/heating contractor for many years. We get a ton of calls when the first real cold front hits. No lectures ...

Recs: 1 Gun Runs Trigger Call Selling By STEVEN M. SEARS | BARRACK OBAMA'S ELECTION TO PRESIDENT has prompted a run on gun stores. Gun owners, and Second Amendment supporters, are afraid a Democratic president and Congress will infringe on their rights to own guns, and this could create short-term options trading opportunities in broken-down gun stocks...

So heres the skinny... I bought a turbo and some other goodies to give my Z 400whp. Sounds great right? So I do alittle searching and a shop called Slow Motion Motorsports was recommended to me. I was told they had installed all the parts I have on another 350Z. Experience is a good thing. SO. They quoted me $1,400 for full insatll and 1 hour on the dyno for tuning. So I drop the car off on...

DETROIT There has been a buzz at Fade Away this week. The No. 1 topic of conversation at the Highland Park barbershop has been the election of Barack Obama, but a close second was the Pistons' acquisition of NBA superstar Allen Iverson. And the shop's owner says if you can judge anything by the comments he has heard, the people are giving a big thumbs-up to Pistons president Joe ...
