Posted about it awhile ago, here are pics. This is for an 04 Dakota 4.7 Quad Cab. In general I like the look and performance of it, just thought there were a few fitment and customer service issues I wouldn't expected to deal with at this price. First, the tube could stand to be about an inch longer from the throttle body to the intake box. Getting the filter onto the tube, the tube through the ...

it comes with instructions but I still had a reputable transmission shop put it in. I've heard of too many horror stories where people have messed up their tranny trying to install the kit. And Dave is right, Suprastick is the way to go.

I just installed a TCI torque converter and Trans Scat valve body kit into my 1998 GT 4R70W transmission. I used the middle level called "street" on the instructions. The tranny will not shift into 3rd. It runs through 1st and 2nd fine in drive and when manually shifted. It runs fine when left in 2nd. When in drive it really nose dives when...

dont let people scare you, the shift kit install is easy with common tools, although very messy. if you can read and follow directions, go for it. all it takes is attention to detail, and the ability to closly follow directions, Even if you dont get your stuff from wayne at aps, he has an excelent set of instructions that enhance the instructions that come with the transgo kit, as their ...

Looks like a Trans-Go shift kit parts to me. Hopefully Jake will chime in on this since he knows more about these kits then I do. I have a few different instructions around here I can look at to verify. Brian

shift kit firms up shifts for towing, hauling, racing. They in turn cause less clutch slipage and the bands will last longer due to less heat being built up during shifts. I got a transgo for my 46RE on ebay for 5 bucks but have yet to install it. I have done 2 B&M shift kits on chevy's and the transgo one I have now appears to be even more involved so I'd say it is not a job for a novice......

So I was looking into the grounding wires for our cars. I heard mixed reviews about them. Some have dynoed it said had some minimal gains but gains either way. Some said no gains just better vehicle response louder radio and some no changes at all. I was going to do it with the stillen kit but, its like a buck and change for it, I was always holding off because of the price amount for like ...

I am having a sort of "garage sale". Some stuff has come up in which I need $$. It sucks because I have spent time and money on the car and unfortunately, it is the first place I have to start selling stuff. I am trying to start with small things hoping to get by, but I may (probably) will have to sell more soon. Right now I am selling 2 things: Carbon fiber shift knob with red stiching and ...
