It rapidly freezes the bolt, causing it to contract and expand while at the same time the penetrating oil is working it's way in. It was recommended to me by a buddy, and it works great....

I'm installing a set of lifted leafe springs on the front of my truck. When I attempted to re-install the shackles, the bolts won't fit through the new leaf springs. Inside the end of the spring is a rubber bushing and a metal sleeve. The bolt is to large for the metal sleeve. The old springs did not have that metal sleeve. I'm not sure if I have incorrect shackles and bolts. The ...

Well when my new shackel and spring eye bushings came as a kit it was pretty straight forward.. there is one more step though... after all the PIA of removing the shackels, and spring hangers the new bolts came with out the little welded on tab! At least Ford had the fore site to have them on there OEM, but LMC, Energy Suspension, and even the Ford Dealer don't offer the bolts with the tab welded...

PRG 3 inch spacer kit will probably work best with 2wd trucks as there will be a LTO of UCA contact as everyones been saying. Another alternative is the 2.5" spacer 1.5" shackle from Readylift, and it comes complete with bump stops and alignment bolts... nice thing is you don't have to replace your rear shocks with 1.5' of lift but you'll have to beyond that Choose wisely! PRG seems to be the...

If they are flat, get a new main leaf and install it into the current spring pack or get new packs. I'm borrowing a link to a page on leaf springs. The eye is the part where it bolts to the frame and shackle at either end. An extra leaf will make flat springs recurve slightly (like an add a leaf, but it will have the same spring rate as the original so it won't ride like a rock!) RPM Net ...
