My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: VA I have approximately 35K in cc debt. I have managed to settle with BOA for 1/2 of what I actually owe. I am now working on settling my Discover account which I owe around $4K. Has anyone ever worked with settling with them? They are tending to be very hard nosed and indicating they will not settle. Any help or suggestions ...  |

if you haven't made a payment since 04, it's probably not the original creditor you owe money to. What happens is the credit card companies move your account/debt to write off status after about 9 months. Then a collection agency comes along and buys your account, where they pay only a percentage of it's total value. Then they contact you and hound you with a new found vengeance. Notice ... |

I cant decide what to do, ive decided i wanna get cdj 1000s mk2 or mk3. Im going to go with the ecler 3.0. The problem i cant decided if to: 1. Buy my mixer now £399 and just use my axis 9s till i pay off the mixer, them buy new cdj1000s £1500 when my credit card is clean 2. Buy the lot as a package £1850 and save some money, be in alot of debt. 3. Buy a new mixer then shop around... |

Hi im wondering if anyone can help me as im confused, i had a default on my name only 4mths ago i found out after searching through my credit file, now this default was from Oct 2002 and i contacted the dca to deny i owed money and that im not responsible and in return they sent me a letter to ask to send my drivers licence to them which i refused.
