Therin is the crux of the issue IMO. I personally have no problem driving around a guy who's broke down and acted like a petulant child, but the code of group wheeling requires that someone in the group help him get his rig mobile and off the trail safely, if not actually repaired. When a guy has shown up minus about five critical common sense items and attitudes, my motivation to help is pretty ...

Jerry: Safety is not some thing to be legislated. Even though the seat belt law saves lives and I wear mine every where I go, I do not believe we should have a law that mandates it. Every time we have a disaster whether man made or natural, there is some kind of knee jerk legislation. The biggest knee jerk was the Patriot Act. Phone taps without warrants, secret courts, secret warrants...

Well, we had the 8 passanger Montana, and although it isn't well known for its safety like a sienna or whatever, I don't think it's among the worst either. What I LOVED about the montana was the 3 seats across the middle row - made it amazing for 3 across (all 3 positions had tether), or you could take out one of the modular seats alltogether and have very roomy access to the back row (2 ...

"Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... My machine runs fine with Avast. Now if you're talking about a resource hog like Norton, that's a different story. As lucky as you've been, I hope you play the lottery. w Yes I also use Avast...it is really a great application. No matter how careful one is...a virus checker is a very necessary "safety net" "Unknown" wrote ...

Recs: 0 And another thing: I worked for Chrysler for 30 years, and during that time I drove well over 100 cars. I leased two for family members, and drove product development cars that had to be evaluated and replaced every two months. And during that time, the only serious problem I ever had was a faulty turbo charger, which was not made by Chrysler. But hey! ...

I'm sure others will chime in with the great links to talk about the benefits of ERF and EH and even boosters so i'll just share some basic carseat ideas. From least expensive to most: 1) Cosco Scenera will hold child to 35 lbs rear facing and up to 40 lbs forward facing. ~$40/50 at Target/ Walmart/ Kmart 2) Safety 1st Avenue same as the Scenera but with EPS foam and a little more ...

If you're talking about safety ratings there are none and Consumer Reports is useless. ALL seats on the market pass the same crash standards. We recommend some over others for ease of use and installation, length of use for the price. The SS1 without the base weighs 9.75lbs. It has a 30lbs weight limit and a taller shell so it will last longer then the Flex Loc The Flex loc has a 22lbs...

Kelly - At your daughter's age, a booster is an option. However, CPST recommend waiting until children are 40lbs before putting them in a booster. I'm including some links for you below about the 5pt harness and moving children to boosters, which I hope can help you make an informed decision. I'll probably have to make the same decision down the road seeing as my almost 4 year old is only ...

DH went to a Ford dealership today to sit in some vehicles. He's 6', 2" (with a LONG torso!) and 325+ lbs so it has to be big enough to fit him. He sat in the Ford Flex (we won't be getting it, too expensive, but he wanted to sit in it). He's talking with the salesman and asks how it is to install car seats. The guy says, "Oh, really easy." DH said, "Good because my wife is all into carseats...

So I was cleaning up some stuff in my apartment yesterday and found an old box full of old school stuff that I must have just kept for whatever reason. I had this folder full of English papers and essay's I had done. Stuck in the middle I found a script that I had started. I have no idea what the story was supposed to be about, I have no idea when I wrote or even really why I started and never ...
