I have a desktop computer running Windows 7 (retail version). I would like to add some UNC paths to the search index to allow Windows Search to locate files on mapped network drives. My network drives are mapped from a Windows Home Server which is running Windows Search 4.0. I am running Windows Search 4.0 on a (separate) computer at work and I have seen a tab in the Indexing Options to ...

The c: drive on my WHS is 100% full. I am unable to use much at this point. The culprit is all the files under "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows", particularly Windows.edb which is nearly 8GB in size. How can I resolve this? I wish Windows Search had the ability to make certain disk space was left available. Please advise.

But asked why News Corp ...

Hello, I use RH 7 on Windows XP, and generate my help project using WebHelp. The Search and Index functions work perfectly fine in the generated help project on my hard drive, but when the project is deployed to our Web server for user acceptance testing, these functions don't work. When I search for a term, the help project displays either "Searching..." or "Loading data, please ...
