In the interest of devoting some time to one notable flick I saw this week, I'll keep the others brief: The Visitor: I only saw this fairly bland cross-cultural drama because a family friend plays an immigration lawyer. Otherwise, typical character development and a surprisingly weak performance from Richard Jenkins (the presence of which was a major impetus to see the film) keep it from ...

Well hello there organicprankster . Magnolia is a good flick I have to say - "Why are frogs falling from the sky?" My week was not as film-filled as I was hoping. Sure enough, being the big James Bond fan that I am, I was unable to see Quantum Of Solace the weekend it's finally stateside (hopefully this Friday will be the day). But I was able to fit in it's fantastic predecessor ...

QUOTE (meosles @ Nov 16 2008 6 38 PM) I should have rephrased my words. Saying you do not support may sound offending. I do get the impression from your previous posts that you don't think this show will do well, but perhaps I am just mistaken. I am as disappointed with the choice of male lead as anyone else, but I hope that the role will prove to be a good one and the drama will be...

It's a remake. Excuse me? That is your way of justifying a movie that is Predictable and Clichéd? Its a remake?! With it being a Remake doesnt that actually give the movie MORE of a reason to try new things
.? There is nothing worse than seeing a movie that is using dated techniques that have seriously overstayed their welcome. Or a movie that is painfully predictable. I cant ...

That isn't the issue at hand. You're the one who brought up DVD sales. we are talking about whether or not a large number of people enjoyed Tylers preformance. I'm sorry but MANY people have complained about Tyler's shabby performance, Connelly didn't get half the criticism. Considering there were hundreds of thousands of people worldwide who did, then yes, there were "...

Here's most of the interview: With two great new roles and a body that won't quit, Jennifer Aniston is reinventing what it means to be 40 and female in Hollywood. By Jonathan Van Meter. Photographed by Craig McDean. Here she comes, in faded cutoffs and a tank top. Has there ever been a more casual star? A more unrepentant Southern California girl? I am standing in the ...

I just found this on another web site and I think Jen is one classy lady. Here is a part of the interview and really puts it into perspective about how she feels about her breakup with Brad. I think this speaks volumes about her. With two great new roles and a body that won't quit, Jennifer Aniston is reinventing what it means to be 40 and ...

MADAGASCAR 2 (no spoilers) The animated film industry continues to make big strides, and we the viewers are the ones that benefit from such. Cartoons today have reached an apex where age boundaries don't exist and an audience filled with completely different people can sit and enjoy the same movie. Quote: After Daniel Craig's triumphant return as James Bond in Casino Royale, my family and I were really looking forward to seeing his sophomore effort in Quantum of Solace. We were among the guests at a Ford preview screening of the new Bond flick last night, and after we walked past the gorgeous Aston Martin DBS placed in the lobby (talk about product placement), ...

I am – Hercules!! Walton Goggins, whose character Shane Vendrell just finished six years as a member of Vic Mackey’s strike team on “The Shield,” is attached to a proposed new series in development at AMC. The pilot script for "Rectify" was written by actor Ray McKinnon, perhaps best known for his role as Reverend Smith on “Deadwood.” McKinnon won an Oscar for “The ...

Well with a title so blunt and obvious, I laugh anytime someone asks me what this movie is about. It's pretty simple. It's about a woman whose happy go lucky personality affects her life and others' perceptions of her. What the film does have is lightning fast dialog and quick fire jokes that are easy to miss, not to mention a dazzling performance from Sally Hawkins in the lead role. However,...
