My DD got glasses when she was 14 mos old. I scrapped her with her cute little (very little) glasses. I also have the original prescription and glasses. I rarely journal except facts (I know bad me). But I journaled on this one because getting the glasses was emotional (for me not her)- whenever anything is wrong with your child it is emotional- anyway I was so moved when I noticed that she ...

I am in the middle of my kitchen clean up. I took stuff out of the cabinets and wiped down the shelves and I am organizing and moving stuff around to make room. I hope to have it done by Tuesday so I can get the rest of the house clean for next week when we have company over for Thanksgiving. My really huge project is scrapbooking. I love to do it but time and money have been sorely lacking...

I think this is a very difficult issue. On the one hand we have a system of education that encourages people to study for specialist jobs, often over many years, and where employers are quite 'picky' about who they will take on. (An architectural practice isn't going to take on a former bank manager to do building design, simply because he's having difficulty finding another bank job)....

It's long been accepted by footballing afficiandos that the Finals System really has no merit in a table-format competition. In my esteemed opinion the top team of any given league is the one that has come first when the season has ended; the ' Minor Premiers' if you will. I'm not exactly sure how we bastardised the European form of "winning" in this country, but now's a good time to discuss ...

" p.s. I wonder why the Met didn't fight it. You wonder if they were forseeing a significant risk of losing. " There was no point fighting it, they have quietly been negotiating an out-of-court settlemen ever since Ghaffur dreamed this up as a way of earning a pretty pound and getting into consultancy (the lucrative part of policing). £300k would barely pay for junior counsel for the ...

Greetings everyone to the fifth edition of By The Hand Of Sepryon. I am Petre, and one time at band camp I lit one of my farts and it started a forest fire. Beat that Pete Gas. My previous efforts at columns have involved being a little more tolerant of drug usage, scrapping women’s wrestling and saying no to jobbing stars off (if only MVP had read that one…) but this time out, my first ...

Read some of the posts. First of all, big thanks out there for all the well wishes, even from some people that I'm at odds with. We are all human afterall and not without some sense of decency. And now....the rest of the story.... We pulled up to the other office building across downtown Dallas. Went upstairs and then was led into a board room type conference room. I'd seen ...

My firstborn broke her bone just below the wrist on her left arm the night before my birthday, November 10th (but I didn't realize it until the next morning- which happened to be my birthday), and we spent the better part of all afternoon yesterday (my birthday) at the doctors office getting xrays and what not. She has to get a cast tomorrow. They put a splint on her first to allow the swelling...

and I actually celebrated! Its true, I started digital scrapping in October 2003, and joined SBB. And this weekend, I got to meet and take a class by my scrapping idol, Cathy Zielske at a Creating Keepsakes event. She is so awesome and totally re-inspired me and help me re-evaluate what I love and why I participate in this awesome hobby. Just had to share,

Dear Bob, Respectfully, why did you close our 'Beyond Belief' thread? Couldn't you just have deleted the Bitchfest Page? The topic itself will run another few days and is one which will provoke serious debate I am sure. This is our scrapping parlour after all-and- even with Sharron and Tracey's Olympic Handbag event, imho, the thread still paled in comparison to some of the threads...
