If someone can help me with this I will be amazed because I really don't have much to go on. It's something I saw about fifteen or twenty years ago and I want to watch it again but I can't figure out the title. A group of astronauts find strange debris in Earth orbit (a sea faring ship..maybe an airplane?). They are either on a mission to explore the moon already or they follow the debris field ...

Hi, I’m Cody G. Carson and I just joined this forum and my goal is to find some qualified NASA as well as non-NASA engineering help to make my sci-fi writing more credible. I want to write sci-fi with character driven plots that is much more science based than the original Star Trek series. Based on what I write here, you will be able to decide if your interests are compatible with mine and ...

I'm looking for a fairly recent Japanese science fiction movie where Earth has been attacked by aliens. I think they begin to time travel in order to solve the conflict. In one scene there is only a single Harrier jet returning from an air strike. It turns out that the jet is an alien. It transforms and begins attacking. Now. What movie is this. I just can't seem to find it by searching for ...

Not trek, but sorta sci-fi So I've been thinking lately about what my own scifi universe would look like, and at first it was pretty much just star trek based. But thinking about it more, I thought it would be cool if there were some things star trek, some battlestar galactica. There are probably other influences that I don't know ...

Looking to sell each series together. I realize that the fast majority are very worthless. Willing to sell most of them at minimum of shipping + five bucks. I might be moving soon so I'm looking to cut down on the amount of useless crap that I'll never read again, don't want to take with, and in some cases, don't want people to know I've read. BATTLETECH Decision at ...

Pretty impressive to my eyes! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dadP...layer_embed ded Quote: One producers YouTube video, featuring giant robots invading the city of Montevideo, has landed him a $30 million Hollywood movie deal. Fede Alvarezs Ataque de Panico (Panic Attack) shows the gigantic CGI humanoids capturing the capital of Uruguay as citizens flee...

Every 6 months or so, I break out a box of books - a small house does not have the shelf space to hold indefinitely all the books you may wish to read. For those of you who have not yet read it - or for those who read it years ago - may I suggest Asimov's "The End of Eternity." My assessment - a good story, internal logic is sound and it is supremely well written.
