Schumacher Battery Chargers

I need a couple of battery chargers. I'll probably get a nice one with a jump starter for home use, a cheaper trickle charger to leave at another location. Advance auto and sams club have Schumacher brand. Are these pretty good chargers? I think This model for home use and thsi cheaper one to leave elsewhere. Schumacher seems like a pretty good brand. Any reason not to get these two...

schumacher speedcharge chargers have desulfating ability...i was actually thinking about buying one of these. It seems they could take the place of a small battery tender to maintain a battery not used often, but still be used in engine start conditions.

I have a almost brand new Schumacher SC-1200A battery charger for sale it was purchased from Walmart about 1 year ago and has only been used twice. It is in perfect condition not 1 scratch on it. the clamps are also in perfect condition with not 1 scrape or scuff. Schumacher battery tender - Hot?

I have a Schumacher battery tender that I hooked up today to charge the battery. I don't know how old the unit is...it came with the Syclone as an onboard unit. I'm just wondering if it's normal for the unit to get hot (not red hot, but very warm) while plugged in? If not, I'll disconnect it.

since this is about battery chargers sorta anyone got any recommendations on a good one? my b&d is crap and has been since day one but i used it so little being gone so much it didn't matter. now that i'm home for good i need a good charger.

I have used both Harbor Freight Float Chargers and Battery Butlers for more than five years. Both brands have worked well.
