The obvious is Cades Cove. However, it is being upgraded and is closed through May 21. Hello, My husband and I will be in Victoria, B.C. the 1st week in June 2010 from 7:30am to 11:59pm. The binsar to chaukori drive is also great..the initial part is through the thickly forested areas of binsar leading onto the river valley areas of sheraghat with the river sharyu by the side. this area abounds with deep green colored terraced fields and beautiful kumaoni villages.

I am planning a car journey this July from Kent down to Cannes and am in the process of planning the most scenic route. I have 7 -8 days to get there and back and would like to include Millau bridge, Dordogne and if possible Grandes Alpes route but only just starting my research.
