Transportation Issues from the Sanford Orlando airport

We are going to WDW in a week and a half and we fly into the Orlando Sanford (SFB) airport. It is about 40 min north of the parks. We are staying at CBR, which does not offer transportation to any airport other than Orlando International. We cannot seem to find a car rental that is affordable.... Has anyone flown into this airport and found a way to get from there to the Resorts? The shuttles...

Directions from Sanford Orlando Airport

Hi all, was wondering if anyone could help us We are travelling to sanford orlando airport on 13 Oct ( 9 days to go soooo exited!) and we are hiring a car from there and driving to our hotel, lake buena vista resort village. Can any one provide easy to follow directions for us to follow? Thanks

Flights into Sanford in my experience always land early, unless there is a big delay when setting off . If your due to land 5;30 its more likely to be 5;15. You should be in your car and driveing by 6;15 just in time to catch the thickest rush home on I-4 if you decide on that route. Using the 417 is Quicker and less traffic , and you have no difficult turn off to navigate to get ...

Taking an extended family trip to WDW this summer. Some of the family may be flying into Orlando/Sanford airport. I've mapquested it and it appears to be about an hour away. Just curious, do they have car rental places at that airport? Also, are their hotels close to that airport? I am surprising my boyfriend with a trip to Orlando in Feb for his birthday. We are flying into the Sanford Airport and renting a car. Our hotel is right off of International Dr in Orlando near Universal Studios.
