I got a surprising result when I compared my two CECBs. Background: I bought two CECBs, the Zinwell ZAT970 and the Zenith DTT901. I bought the Zinwell in case I wanted to program it with my analog DVD Recorder, not for its sensitivity... I didn't necessarily expect it to perform as well as the Zenith based on reviews on this forum. I live in San Francisco, in reasonable proximity to ...

I think that some people/"critics", just don't know what to do about David. He does not fit into any mold and once they decided a certain opinion in American Idol, they can't let themselves back down from that. They are not sure if he is "cool" and they make them feel uncomfortable about themselves and who they, themselves are and this is a defense mechinism. There are many shallow people out ...

I lived in San Francisco during this era. I just ran across this and thought many of you may enjoy it also. Excellent! Thank you! I loved this music and time. I was only 6 in '69, but back in the day on my street every family had anywhere from 3 to 7 kids and we were all babysat by the same teens whose style and music were huge influences, at least on the us little girls. My ...

If you google the SFPD website they have a list of all their stations. The letters next to the talkgroups in the database correspond to the 2nd digit of an officer's unit ID given over the radio (which is the designator for which station they're based from). See this thread for a previous discussion of this topic: http://www.radioreference.com/forums...ight=SFPD+U nit -Inigo

If you people are prattling on about the Mayan calendar thingy rest assured the world is not coming to an end just yet. Big stelliums and alignments of planets happen all the time. A bunch of heathen savages calendar makers or not hardly had the big divine guidance in the sky. All the living godheads say we are at the dawn of the golden age and that thing will get a lot better for a ...
