Hey ladies...sorry to be such a stranger, but it's been a wee bit hectic. My days are long, my drive is long, and my patience is very short, as usual. I miss my girls, my husband, my house, and my dogs. But did I mention...I'M HAVING A FREAKEN BLAST??? My sales are getting better each month, I'm making some really great connections in the community, and people are coming back to MY store, ...

LOL, "kid_a" you're the one with kid in your username! how do you get offended when I address you as a child? I' m 33, not a kid by any means but thanks for the compliment taxes are not calculated by country. I wrote this in my post. it's not just the US that has different taxes by state, county, and city. Also, when you purchase something, it doesn't depend on where you purchase it, but ...

I just found this forum! I'm old, so I guess that makes me that mom/grandmom you're talking about here. Paper towels, DH buys them, I try not to let him go into the stores. I don't use 'em. We have plenty of old t-shirts, sox, sweatpants. By the way, I have a Swiffer mop. I love it! I don't buy the pads, make my own out of sweatpants and toss them in the wash. I hadn't thought ...

I did a search and did not find anything with the term HR 2666. While it looks like this bill is dead in the water this thread if nothing else shows that they are still gunning for us. WE will be a lot easier to take down if we are unarmed. My thought for the so called reps that introduce Unconstitutional legislation. Quote: My solution for this ...

I think the PS3 is a great system. It gets the most use in my house. My 360 and original Xbox are media players right now (with us using the 360 for a few games)....and the poor Wii is never used for anything. I think as a gamer that everyone should be able to enjoy a PS3.....the problem is still that Sony won't drop the damn price. I have seen PS3 selling well in stores and while I still ...

Any updates? Nope! How was your weekend? Any plans next weekend? Saturday was busy! I spent over 2 hours doing grocery shopping - driving from store to store to hit the best sales. Then I had to take PJ to a birthday party. That evening my brother and his friend came over for dinner and for games - they were with us until nearly 1 AM! Sunday I took Jared to his girlfriend's ...

I wonder how many among us do not like Christmas music, or at least not yet. I was shopping 2 weeks ago, and was caught off guard when I started to hear that dreaded music. Yes, dreaded. I hate Christmas music. Infact, I can easily pass for the Grinch at this time of the year. Oh, it is not the money involved, but the sentiment that tugs at my heart. While listening to that music two weeks ago, I...
