I am not a fan of love/sex poems but this one I like. The honesty is provocative, sad and intense. I'm not sure who to feel bad for. This poem makes me think of so many stories I know...Are you selfish for saying the truth with goodbye? Anyways, rare for me to like love sh it so good job but I think you missed a letter in your spelling

Poem I wrote while getting over a really difficult breakup... and so far it's applied just as strongly to each heartbreak that followed. It's my "break-up poem", but in a good way. (It helps me deal cuz I just remember I got through the last one so I can get through the next.) In my opinion it's one of my best poems so please don't be too harsh. "Untitled" All your ...

I am sorry about the loss of your dog, I have been down this road too. Maybe these poems will help. I am sorry. I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep. I had a miscarriage two months ago. It was my first pregnancy. Since then I have just felt like a jar of marbles that has been shaken up. Everything in my life seems so different. I find myself sad from time to time and I can't shake it. My pre-pregnancy self is a girl with a great job (love it love it), a member of a racing yacht (gearing up for the annual Brisband to Gladstone), and a ...

This Indian Morning This Indian morning brown as Icarus Flows guiltless to the vault of noon Not influenced by cent per cent, Obediences baggy at the seams, Outside the Cretan labyrinth Of money, conscience, work, glum dreams. Now from the Muslim quarter rise Dissolving cries and arabesques of fire From braziers heated with dry cattle-dung. Tomb-dwellers, women in ...

That friendship never really had proper closure, so it felt important for my narrator to say goodbye with such certainty. Is your poem biographical, too? If so, what happened? It sounded like the narrator suffered a major concussion......
